Dear
Ministry Leader:
First
the good news. Surveys show United States church attendance
is at all time highs.
Now
the bad news. 75% of Church goers are not significantly involved
in their attending church ministries.
So
how do we get people involved? We listen…which requires
we take time to ask. Everyone has an opinion. When you ask
people to share their opinions with you, you are lighting a fire
within them and communicating to them they are important.
Once we feel someone cares and shows it by listening, our willingness
to get involved increases. And the natural outgrowth of involvement
is what all ministry leaders seek --commitment,
both spiritually and in the lay ministries of the community.
Unfortunately,
when was the last time you had time to have an in-depth conversation
with ….10 constituents? 25? And what if your
ministry services hundreds or thousands? And, if you did have
the time….it is unlikely you could find 10 others that had
an equal amount of time to give. And if they did, it would
still take a period of weeks or months to meet with that many people.
Lastly, if by some miracle we can overcome those constraints, would
we even know how to structure such a conversation to gather actionable
information?
Accountability
Partners provides ministries tools for gaining member involvement
and building board consensus -- all in a fast and confidential manner.
Our tools allow those involved in a ministry to share their perspectives
in 35 critical areas of effectiveness. We summarize their
perspectives into the consensus, low performance/high impact areas
for you to focus your resources. This process can be completed
